![]() ![]() After a bit of googling I found people who managed to achieve higher resolutions with: I ran X -configure (or X -configure?) and used the generated nf as a starting point. I stupidly deleted the existing /etc/X11/nf which caused the xserver to do the automatic configuration which lead to X starting with the vesa driver in 800圆00. ![]() I have this laptop since december 2008 and after a couple of days of working on it I got X working (I was using a different sis driver, sadly I can't remember where I got it from - it might have been included in X - I think it was one I found somewhere on the web though, probably the sis 2D driver).Īfter automatic aptitude upgrade on Monday (14 Sept 2009) X stopped working. I'm using a Fujitsu Esprimo Mobile v5535, debian squeeze which I upgrade regularly.
